In recognition of the historical and present day oppression of the traditional Indigenous stewards of Turtle Island, I wish to acknowledge that I live and work in the occupied traditional Lisjan Ohlone Land in the area now referred to as Oakland/East Bay, CA.

If you have come to help me, you are wasting our time....

But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.....

Greetings! and Welcome...

I'm sharing the quote above with you because it has been a guiding force in my life. It underlies my commitment to social justice and inspires my creative and eclectic approach to therapy and consulting services.

As an immigrant woman of color, my personal, professional and academic experiences have provided me with knowledge and awareness around issues of race, class, ethnicity, privilege and oppression.

My own experiences of navigating multiple systems of oppression - both in the United States and overseas - has given me insight into my own resilience, strength and determination. These experiences inform both the therapeutic work and the consulting services I provide.

Reaching out for support takes courage; it requires taking an emotional risk in service of your own healing journey...I am grateful that your journey has brought you to my website. I hope that you will find answers to some of your questions here.

If I may be of service, please feel free to contact me. I provide both in person and teletherapy services - via a HIPAA compliant, online platform. I am available for a free 30 minute phone or video consultation.

*Please note, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I will only be providing teletherapy services until further notice.
